[1.6.x] T2 Military – Ship Sections + Capitals Stellaris

Compatible with 1.6.x/1.7.x
Adds additonal sections for ships, a Capital ship size, and an energy equivelent to Kinetic Battery, Energy Spears. Also reduced the number of techs required for Tier 4 techs from 10 to 8.

Ships
Added 4 Tier 3 Engineering techs, x Prototyping, for each of the base ship sizes which unlocks additional sections, requiring the respective assembly yard to be unlocked. Corvette and Destroyer Assembly Yards are now unlocked from their own techs, requring Spacport 2 and 4 respectively to appear.

Researching Destroyer Prototyping unlocks a Tier 4 tech Escort Templates, unlocking sections allowing destroyers similar to Fallen Empire Escorts to be made. Similarly, researching Battleship Prototyping allows Marauder Templates to appear, allowing battleships to be similar to Fallen Empire Battlecruisers. The AI are weighted to use these sections should they have them unlocked.

Capital Ships
A new ship type, Capital, can be unlocked from the Tier 3 Engineering tech, Capital Ship Construction, which requires Spaceport 6 (Battleships). Capitals are essentially 4-section battleships, using similar sections with additional Weapons and more Utility slots, plus an additional Auxillary (So Capitals have 4). There is also a Capital Assembly Yard spaceport module unlocked in the same way as the other ship types.

Capitals currently have built in support for Advanced Ship Behaviour Modules if it is installed.

There are also 2 Tier 4 sub-techs beyond this;
– Dreadnoughts, which requires Marauder Templates, unlocks the Bow X2 and Mid L4 sections. AI weighting will then use the Bow X2 in favour of Bow X1.
– Carriers, which requires Escort Templates, unlocks higher capacity Strike Craft sections. AI weighting will stop the lower capacity types being used.

Energy Spears
Adds an energy equivelent to Kinetic Battery/Artillery. The first tier, Energy Spear, requires X-ray Lasers to be researched first. The second tier, Tachyon Spear, requires Energy Spears to be researched.
