Emancipation Happiness Penalty Removal Stellaris

Emancipation Happiness Penalty Removal Stellaris

This mod removes the 10% happiness penalty from pops being recently enslaved.

I felt like this change from 1.6 was unwarranted, and that the implementation was buggy. Any pop that began growing on minerals/food would start out enslaved, and even if you moved that pop before the growth finished the happiness penalty would remain. To me this was frustrating because you have no real say in where pops begin growing. Further, if a pop was reenslaved and unenslaved multiple times, they would receive multiple happiness penalties. And while I didn’t check, I’d imagine that sectors/AI handle this issue very poorly.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty.
