Pioneer Fervor – Initial colony population

Pioneer Fervor – Initial colony population

Refer to screenshots if i’m terrible at explaining things.

A mod that allows you to change the cost and effectiveness of colony ships.

Colonisation Fervor (Expansion traditions) unlocks a set of policies; Pioneer Efforts. There are 5 levels for this policy set (2 locked via technology), plus one more for the Yuht, whose relic has been buffed somewhat.

Pioneer Efforts

Planetary Outposts

  • -1 Pops from colony finished (counters the buff from Colon. Fervor)
  • +150% Colony development speed
  • -50% Colony Ship cost

Pioneer Programs

(Default)

  • +50% Colony development speed

Expanded Pioneer Recruitment

  • +1 Pops from colony finished
  • +50% Colony Ship cost

Starborn Destiny

(Requires Ai-Controlled Colony Ships tech)

  • +2 Pops from colony finished
  • -50% Colony development speed
  • +100% Colony Ship cost

Reach for the Stars

(Requires Self-Aware Colony Ships tech)

  • +4 Pops from colony finished
  • -100% Colony development speed
  • +200% Colony Ship cost

Yuht Cryo-Colonies

  • +2 Pops from colony finished
  • +20% Colony Ship cost
  • NOTE: You need Ancient Relics DLC in order to get the relic, if your precursor is Yuht.

Pioneer Effort cannot be changed while you have planets being colonised or have Colony ships. Unfortunately i could not figure out a way to see if Colony Ships were being built ingame, so it’s possible to spam them before upping the price.

Expanded Pioneer Recruitment and above provides Pioneer worker-class jobs on newly colonised planets (these do not change if you change policy after colonising).
Pioneers are like Colonists that produce less but increase construction speed.

COMPATABILITY

This mod overrides the vanilla relics – because they’re FIOS for some reason – and the Reassembled Colony Shelter building.
Does not override colony ships or traditions.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty.
