AlphaMod 3.1

AlphaMod 3.1

An Unofficial Expansion

AlphaMod is often considered an overhaul, but is primarily an expansion of many of Stellaris’ features and content. The goals of the mod are:

  • To provide more choices as to how to go about achieving whatever goals you have.
  • To give you more solutions to dealing with the challenges you face in the game.
  • To increase the re-play-ability of the game, especially with empires with different origins, ethics and civics.
  • To fill out features and content where I feel PDS has not.
  • To try and make choices matter and have impact, rather than just be a function of progression and routine.

As has always been the case since version 1.0 of the mod, I do not provide extensive documentation or guidance for playing the mod. If you do not enjoy experimenting or learning from mistakes and failure, you will not enjoy the mod. Join one of the various communities, or form your own, and look to other fans of the mod for help.

Time I’m spending documenting a mod is time I’m spending not making a mod.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty. Don't wait and try Stellaris mods right now.
