Galaxius

Galaxius

Intergalactic Colonization is here.

I would like to thank the creators of the machine shipset mod for the use of the assets that were used in the portal as it would have taken longer or not have been possible without it and would highly recommend everyone use .

The goal of this mod is to emulate the colonization of other galaxies. In order to do this you must build the Intergalactic gateway which can be unlocked through a tech that becomes available after researching gateway construction, max sensors and jump drives. The technology will be in the society section under the new worlds category.

Once the gateway is unlocked and built, it functions in a similar way to a habitat in where in it is a habitable structure that you build around celestial entities (minus stars). The district mechanic that is used considers 1 district a specialized planet with all the districts being very similar to a normal planet but with a twist. I have taken the idea behind my ecumenopolis district mod and applied it to this as a sort of base. The districts should be considered the equivalent of 25 of their ecumenoplis counter parts. Buildings got a similar treatment as well where one building should be considered as 11, or more accurately it should be viewed that you are building one of said building on each planet in that galaxy. Because of this modifiers are mostly unchanged and not stacked.

It is also worth mentioning that numerous modifiers have been applied to the planet class to simulate galaxy wide actions from habitability to planet bombardment damage to carrying capacity.

As for compatibility, this mod overwrites all vanilla buildings with few exceptions. Buildings added by other mods will appear on the world in their unmodified and unbalanced (for this world) form. This mod does incorporate buildings from all of my mods as well it includes the branch office buildings from mod.

There are many plans for this mod in the future including possible events when constructing the gateways from spawning a crisis, to hidden rewards, or discovering “primitive” or even equal empires as well as the ability to “build” megastructures.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty. Don't wait and try Stellaris mods right now.
