Origins Extended: Unbalanced

Origins Extended: Unbalanced

Updated and working with Stellaris version 3.1 (“Lem” update).

What is this?

This is a fork of for those that wish to play with less restrictions for using the origins, mainly in terms of the ethics/civics/government restrictions, which can be useful for roleplay purposes or mod compatibility. Purely functional restrictions will still sometimes remain (eg. no organic species for living on machine worlds).

This version will receive rough updates alongside the main mod, but will usually lag behind in smaller version updates, as I can’t really maintain the mod twice. Therefore, this version will not see minimal non-content expansion updates, support, and attention. There are bugs in this fork that are fixed in the main mod, unfortunately keeping two separate version of the same mod updated is outside my abilities at this time.

It is also very likely that some mechanics and systems break or otherwise don’t function in this fork due to the lack of requirements, such as weird districts spawning, unbalanced starting resources, failure for features/events to spawn, etc. Again, these will not really be maintained.

Currently reflecting Origins Extended version 1.3.10.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty. Don't wait and try Stellaris mods right now.
