Splinter Colony ver 2.6 patch Mod

Splinter Colony ver 2.6 patch Mod

It is an update patch for “”, an event mod made by Aequinoctis.
You don’t need other my update patch (“”)

This patch enables the original mod to run on ver 2.6 (and later). It works fine on ver 2.7.2.
And it includes a few minor additional features.

How to start:
Any one country met below conditions will be asked whether to start the whole event or not.

Conditions:
– isn’t AI empire.
– isn’t gestalt consciousness empire.
– isn’t lithoid empire.
– doesn’t have Lost Colony, Syncretic Evolution, origins. Note: with Life-Seeded or Void Dwellers origins, climate preference will be randomized.
– doesn’t have fanatic purifiers civic.

Known compatibility issue: (on 7/5/2020)
– You need to choose vanilla or compatible planet class for the homeworld. Otherwise, egalitarian splinter colony and The Amaryllis planet will have an issue.
– (Stellaris Ver. 2.4.0 or later) loading order issue with “[JP localize patch]Splinter Colony” mod. If you load ver 2.6 patch later, text from it remains English.

Note on “”
Now, unique worlds won’t block the whole event. that said, splinter colonies will be changed to less-unique ones.
I made so because I’d like to avoid the splinter planets have that planet class. After all, if your species have three (your country has one and the splinter has two) Floating World planet, these planets won’t be so UNIQUE.
And with “The Archive of the Iarkans” origin, climate preference will be randomized.

Note on “”
With “Hostage Planet” origin, climate preference will be randomized.

Note on “”;
Splinter Colony empires fail to get the third civic, only 1 extra civic point.
This patch fix it: “”

Update plan:
– unlock other civic on homeworld.
– Starnet compatibility, shorter event intarval if you enable it.

There might be other unknown issues, I suspect.
Detailed bug reports are always welcome.
