AI Difficulty Boost Edict for Stellaris
AI Difficulty Boost Edict for Stellaris
An AI-Enabled Edict that increases the resources of AI empires, increasing difficulty.
Current Build: Version 1.5.1
With the addition of aggression levels when starting a new galaxy, one can find that the experience of the game is now better tailored to your personal interests when it comes to challenge and fun. However, there are those who find a more aggressive artificial intelligence to be more engaging and interesting to their experience.
This is why I created the following two mods:
Adjusted AI Aggression
Extreme AI Aggression
However, those mods only increase the aggression of the individual AI Empires. This edict mod is meant for use either on its own or as a companion to one of those particular mods in order to increase difficulty even further. The AI Difficulty Boost Edict mod offers the AI a flat boost on its resources, research speed and naval capacity.
What this mod does:
– 30% increase to Energy, Mineral and Food production.
– 30% increase to Research Speed.
– 20% increase to Naval Capacity.
You, too, can use the edict, but the AI weight is set so that AI empires WILL use the edict as they will. It is also set to require no influence to maintain it, so there’s a reasonable chance the AIs probably won’t turn it off. Naturally, since this is an edict, it would stack with bonuses given to AI through difficulty levels at the beginning of a galaxy.
– The AI uses this mod, for obvious reasons.
– Localization on this mod is in English only.
– The mod does not modify any files, as it simply adds new edicts to the game.
– This mod is NOT Ironman and Achievement compatible, so please use at your own risk for achievement runs and Ironman games.
Enjoy the mod! If you run into any issues, please feel free to mention them, but I’ve extensively tested this and it should work just fine. Thank you for choosing my AI Difficulty Boost Edict mod!
