This is my attempt to add some history, and personality, to empire creation. I have added two custom Traits.

Exiled: When you pick this trait your starting homeworld becomes “non-ideal.” You retain your ability to colonize ideal worlds normally.

Favored: When you pick this trait your starting homeworld becomes Gaia.

Goals:
The goal of Project Exile is to have event chains that trigger and a storyline unfolds for the two traits. Then polish it up by doing things such as sprucing up Icons. Making sure scripting is efficient and Compatibility with other mods.

The stretch goal for Project Exile is to make a custom section in empire creation called “History” or something along that line of thought. It would be separate form Traits and Government. But function in the same ways. Add a lot more “historys” to pick and have event chains for them.

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game.
