A simple mod that will spawn an event at the beginning of the game which allows you to choose an advanced start.
I tried to copy the AI advanced start as closely possible, which is a couple early techs in all fields + 3 extra planets or 2 extra planet and a frontier outpost.
Known “bugs”.
-You get a whole bunch of researched tech pop ups, there is nothing I can do about that as that is how the game works.
-The tech choices will still show the researched techs on day 1, let a day pass so the choices get reshuffled.
Known bug.
-Sometimes new planets dont have a planetary capital building, looking into it and will probably be fixed soon.
Update 1:
-General code housekeeping.
-Fixed a bug where not all planets in your border were being surveyed, let a day or 2 pass for them to be surveyed.
