Alternate Lithoid Ships Mod

Alternate Lithoid Ships Mod

An alternate lithoid-themed shipset. Good for those who just don’t think their favorite rock aliens wouldn’t settle for a hollowed-out asteroid. This is a fully featured shipset, containing new models for all sections, stations, and turrets. Titans are included as well, but will require the corresponding DLC to show up in-game. It does NOT replace the vanilla lithoid models, but is a standalone shipset. Species not specifically created or edited to use Alternate Lithoid Ships will still use the original design.

This mod is now NSC2 compatible! I’d like to give a big thank you to the NSC devs and forum for answering a few (probably painfully easy) questions for this modding newbie, and for letting me use bits of their ship explosion effects, which I hopefully haven’t butchered too badly with my clumsy coding.

If you have any issues that aren’t attributable to other ship effecting mods, post a comment down below, and I’ll look into it as soon as I get a chance.

(UPDATE)
As far as I can tell, the 7.1 update hasn’t broken anything for this mod, at least in vanilla Stellaris. The version compatibility has been updated, and should no longer generate a warning in the launcher.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you like the ships!

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty. Don't wait and try Stellaris mods right now.
