Cat_Fuzz Extra Special Vanilla: Scaled Traits (v1.1) Mod

Cat_Fuzz Extra Special Vanilla: Scaled Traits (v1.1) Mod

This mod adds a small selection of additional species traits based around the existing vanilla traits available. Some traits that only had positives now have negative traits, and others have multiple scales of traits.

WHAT DOES IT DO:

• Adds new traits based on the existing Vanilla traits, with custom icons and tooltips.
• Adds negative versions of traits such as ‘Intelligent’ (Benighted), ‘Industrious’ (Indolent), ‘Thrifty’ (Lavish), etc.
• Adds tiered versions of some traits, for example there is now a ‘very bad’ adaptability trait, ‘Maladjustive’ that gives -20% Habitability for -4 points.
• Makes a few minor adjustments to some traits, namely Resilient now provides a health and morale bonus to defensive armies, and talented has a very minor ‘Special Resource Bonus’

EXTRA SPECIAL VANILLA SERIES

UNITY / TECH DEPENDENCE:

HOT AXIS HABITABILITY:

EXPANDED PERSONALITIES:

DEFINED MILITARY:

These mods are designed to tweak and play with existing mechanics in the game to try to build a better overall experience and to create some fun gameplay. They are largely personal modes I’ve been using over the last few years, but I’ve decided to release them.

I may add one or two mechanics here and there (such as traits that are more extreme than vanilla ones), add more to something (AI Personalities) or largely change a current system (Hot Axis Habitability, Tech/Unity Dependence), but these are all largely done within the realm of the game as it exists, and this is my deisgn philosophy and I don’t plan on creating any new elements outside of this scope.
