Crimewave: Crime and Criminal Heritage AI Overhaul Mod

Crimewave: Crime and Criminal Heritage AI Overhaul Mod

This mod its a simple change in the AI of the game to enhance the way the AI manages it’s crime, to add a little bit of flavor and also make possible to play with a criminal heritage civ on single player.

Only two things are taken in account: Crime planetary decision (Anti-crime campaign and Negotiate with crime lords) and precinct houses buildings. These changes only affect normal empires, drone deviancy on Gestalt Empires is untouched.

The changes are the following:

– Now the AI may decide to use the Anti-crime campaign planetary decision . They will more likely use this decision if they are egalitarian, fanatic egalitarian, pacifist, or fanatic pacifist.
– If you are playing as a Criminal Empire, and you open a branch office on empire you are in bad terms with, or that they consider you a rival, they are more likely to use the Anti-crime campaign, and even finish any started negotiation with crime lords.
– Now the AI may decide to use the Negotiate with crime lords planetary. They will more likely to use this decision if the are authoritarian, fanatic authoritarian, militarist or fanatic militarist.
– If you are playing as a Criminal Empire, and you open a branch office on empire you are in good terms with, or that it is in the same federation as you, they are more likely to use the Negotiation with crime lords, and even finish any started anti-crime campaign.
– The AI now will only build or upgrade precinct houses at 25 crime or more.
– If a Negotiation With Crime Lords is up, no precinct houses will be builded.
– If there is no room for more buildings, and the planet has a Negotiation With Crime Lords, the AI will destroy its presinct houses.
– The AI will build a max of 2 precinct houses, unless they have the Police State civic. In that case, they will build a max of 3.
– Empires with Police State civic would never use any planetary decision, they will always build more precinct houses.
