FEATURES

The Support Ships and Strike Fleets submod is a small pack of additional ship sections to expand fleet composition options.

Cruisers

  • New ship sections focus on providing substantial point defense with some additional firepower
  • Picket Bow sections have slots for 1 Medium Gun Turret and 2 Point Defense Turrets
  • Picket Core sections have slots for 2 Medium Gun Turrets and 2 Point Defense Turrets
  • Picket Stern sections have slots for 2 Point Defense Turrets

Battleships

  • New ship sections focus on augmenting battleships’ roles as long-range weapons platforms with torpedo slots
  • Torpedo Bow sections have slots for 1 Large Gun Turrent, 1 Missile Turret, and 2 Small Gun Turrets
  • Torpedo Core sections have slots for 2 Large Gun Turrets and 2 Missile Turrets
  • Torpedo Stern sections have slots for 2 Missile Turrets

Titans

  • New ship sections allow titans to serve as supercarriers as well as heavy artillery
  • Hangar Core sections have slots for 2 Strike Craft Hangars and 2 Medium Gun Turrets
  • Carrier Core sections have slots for 4 Strike Craft Hangars and 3 Point Defense Turrets
  • Hangar Stern sections have slots for 1 Strike Craft Hangar and 2 Medium Gun Turrets
  • Carrier Stern sections have slots for 2 Strike Craft Hangars and 2 Point Defense Turrets

COMPATIBILITY

Game/DLC Requirements

  • Stellaris must be updated to v2.7.*
  • As a submod, Mastery of Life: Support Ships and Strike Fleets is dependent on its base mod
  • The Utopia DLC is required by the base mod and therefore this submod
  • The Apocalypse DLC is required to access the titan sections added by this submod

Other Mods

  • The new system of a base mod with submods for non-core features is meant to maximize compatibility
  • Mastery of Life overwrites Species Archetypes and the vanilla Ascension Paths
  • The Supporting Ships and Strike Fleets submod has a very low likelihood of any conflicts
