Shroud cooldown decrease to 1 year for Stellaris

I hate the 5 year wait between shroud communication attempts, so I decreased it to 1 year. It also reduces the length of buffs and debuffs from the shroud by the same amount.

If you want to customize the length yourself, find utopia_shroud_events.txt in the Stellaris/events folder and replace all instances of “1800” with a number of your choice. The number represents days so 360 would be one year.

Not compatible with anything else that changes utopia_shroud_events.txt. Works with saved games though, so you won’t have to restart to use this.
