Unused Room Enabler Mod

Unused Room Enabler Mod

A simple mod that enables and touches up 7 unselectable rooms from the game files.

Two of these are dormant old files, and five are new in unfinished states, probably waiting for the next update or DLC.

Requested (not directly to me) by Reddit but I knew I had to have these awesome-looking rooms.

Includes:
– Gilded Room
– Crystalline Room
– Organic Room
– Runic Room
– Scrappy Room
– AI Ethic Room
– Ship Room (not the starry version at this time)

I also threw in a ‘windowed’ version of the not technically unused swarm room, also has a small fix for the black bars on the image. You can use it if even the zerg-like room is too manufactured for you.

These are separate and renamed for compatibility and the ability to fix/alter on my end.

I’m making the transparency nicer in each update, I just wanted this uploaded asap so we didn’t end up with half a dozen modders doing it at the same time not knowing it’s been done. I have no advanced transparency plugin so this was done with various selection tools and by hand.

Also one of the room shows up twice despite being in the files only once, but that’s a tiny bug that I’m fixing.

I have my own dedicated room mod, using vanilla art style rather than Artstation rips (no offense to people who make those). These rooms may be put into my room mod if the base game doesn’t end up using them, plus I can use them as bases to edit from.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty. Don't wait and try Stellaris mods right now.
