Additional Map Modes Pre-Banks for Stellaris

Additional Map Modes Pre-Banks for Stellaris

Additional Map Modes v1.3
Game version: 1.4.*
Last updated: 2017.4.15
Not Achievement compatible (even though it doesn’t change checksum).

Description
If you are looking for the Banks mod version that version can be found here.

The mod is composed of two parts.

The first one is a fix to the game’s UI to allow the Map Mode container to be scrollable and moveable across the player’s screen. There are additional patches to the UI depending on the player’s choice/preference that can be found in the Supporting Mods section below.

The second part of the mod is that it adds a total of 22 different “core” map modes to the game by bringing 4 mapmode mods together into one mod. Some of the older map modes have been udpated to incorporate changes that have been made to Stellaris by Paradox or have been reworked to show additional information.

The map modes included are:

Limitations/Issues
Some map modes are limited to the base game’s options.

Most of the localisations are only in English. The German translation by Swiss Halberdier is compatible with the “Deutschkorrektur” Mod (German Community Language Correction Mod). If this mod is used, then the tooltips for the icons are displayed.

What is Stellaris mods?

A mod (short for "modification") is an alteration where someone, usually a player, changes some aspect (e.g. the way it looks or behaves) of a video game. Mods may range from small changes and simple tweaks to completely new games made within a video game. Games running on a personal computer are often designed with change in mind, allowing modern PC games to be modified by gamers without much difficulty.
