This mod simply reduces the percentage increase incurred from acquiring new planets and populations to three-quarters of the current values (7.5% per planet, and .75% per population). It also gives you part of your homeworld (10 population) without affecting technology costs.

I felt the mid-late game made research turn into a slog, and this mod aims to reign that in a little bit.

This mod changes the following values in 00_defines.lua, and will not be compatible with other mods that do so:

TECH_COST_MULT_NUM_COLONIES
TECH_COST_FREE_POPS
TECH_COST_MULT_NUM_POPS
